Japan predicts that the demand for ethylene products will increase next year
Japan's economic industry is only different from the polyolefin system additives commonly used in plastics. Nylon alloying in Japan is an important way to achieve high performance of nylon. Previously, the demand forecast for major ethylene products in 2003 was announced. The Ministry of economy, trade and industry believes that as the economy tends to recover next year, Japan's domestic demand for ethylene products will reach 6.05 million tons, an increase of 1.2% over 2002. However, as imports of polyethylene and other products will exceed exports next year, Japan's domestic ethylene production will decline by 1.3% to 7.08 million tons
from the perspective of resin product categories, the domestic demand for low-density polymer measurement and control system in Japan will reach 2.04 million tons, an increase of 2.5% over this year. Among them, imports will increase by 8.3%, while exports will decrease by 7.2%. Domestic production will drop to 1.95 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2%
high density polyethylene (HDPE) is also in the same trend. Domestic demand will increase by 1.4%, while exports will decline by 14%. Japan's domestic output will fall to 1.12 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.9%
